Malawians Remember Bingu Wa Mutharika As A Great Man Whose Dreams Live On

Mutharika who dies in 2012 left a legacy which cannot be forgotten and Malawians live to cherish development projects which were spread across during the 8 years rule under his leadership.

Thousands of Malawians from across the country gathered at Kamoto Village in Thyolo District at a memorial mass to celebrate the life of the legend and founder of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) ,Late Ngwazi Prof. Bingu Wa Mutharika.

Mutharika who dies in 2012 left a legacy which cannot be forgotten and Malawians live to cherish development projects which were spread across during the 8 years rule under his leadership.

In his speech, Arch-Bishop Thomas Msusa highlighted some of the development projects which were undertaken during the reign of Bingu, some of which included the Karonga-CHitipa road, Bingu Conventional Center, Universities, Greenbelt initiative, hunger alleviation and putting Malawi on the worl Map.

Msusa also welcomed President Peter Mutharika’s decision to deploy Malawi Defense Force soldiers in the country’s borders to stop illegal export of maize.
