NMCR organization up’s secondary school bursaries, appeals for help.

Northern Malawi community rising organization, a local non-profit making organization that was initiated by youth from the north says it has raised the number of learners it will pay tuition fees for from five last year to ten this year.

Lumbani Kaunda, one of the founders of the organization said their focus was to help brilliant secondary school students but who have financial challenges to remain in school.

Kaunda observed that poverty and a nose-diving economy was making it impossible for young man and women to stay in school.

That is way we thought of coming to gether to do something about it. We are currently funding 10 students from our own pockets money as we don’t have donors so far. Said Kaunda.

According to Kaunda, they are supporting learners who are in community day secondary school’s around Mzimba North.
